Does anyone have one of these engines for sale
out of skid steer in running shape near ohio? I think
it?s 25 horsepower model.

its going to be very helpful if you post the model number of the motor or the make an model of the skidsteer.

I'm going to assume you are talking about a VH4D Wisconsin engine in your skidsteer. If so here is what I did with mine, bad crankshaft. I could not find one out of a skidsteer and the new ones were out of sight in price range.
I got another VH4D off of a baler, took it and sieve off the original motor to local machine shop, had the sieve bored out the fit the newly acquired motor and a new key way cut in the newly bored sieve, then I cut off the crankshaft of the new to me motor, so the sieve was the same distance from moter as on the original engine.
PS. measure distance between original sieve and motor so you will know how much to cut off the crakshaft of new motor, also don't bore all the way thur the sieve, leave a ridge inside to go up against the end of the straight crankshaft.
Now you are not limited to a Bobcat or Skidsteer VH4D with a tapered crankshaft
