Torque Converter Rebuilders? Case W5A

Hey all,

I have a friend that has a W5A Case wheel loader, and he has the engine and transmission out for an engine replacement (188 gas, couldnt find an OH kit, but we found a NOS shortblock! :) )

He pulled the torque converter and it doesnt look good. A washer (he presumes whats left of a thrust bearing?) has ate up the stator shaft.

He believes its a Twin Disc transmission. He has talked to numerous Twin disc dealers and none know anything.

the torque converter has a number punched in it of: 1957FV

Does anyone know of a torque converter rebuilder, or alternately, a salvage unit in good condition?

Thanks!

Check with a John Deere Industrial dealer. 544B loaders used the TT2000 twin disc trans which IIRC Case and Ford did too with some slight differences.
