Cant seem to get the driven clutch adjusted per manual. It seems it wont over center iv dinked with it now for 3 hrs an haven't gained anything. Manual wont tell me what to look for other than the obvious for what is too worn. Any suggestions? O and the main reason I took all this apart was to replace the main brass clutch fork. It never overcentered before I bought it

I did look them over and there are no grooves so to say in them. Looks like the pins and links have been replaced at some point. I'm just not understanding why I cant get a crisp snap outta it.

There is a guy on You Tube, goes by Squatch53 I think. He's got a lot videos on fixing these old girls and might reply if you as him a question on this. You can also try the ACMOC (Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club) forum. Those guys will know if anyone in the world does!

If all the linkage checks out the only other reason for it not going over centre is that it is adjusted too tight, back it off and see if it will go over when slack, sometimes the friction plate can crack up and a piece of the friction material get jammed between the plates causing the same problem.
