Case 310 Dozer

I am restoring a older Case 310 diesel dozer that I believe is a model year 1962 based on a photo found online. Some older case dozers have a negative ground electrical system. I cannot easily access the serial number because it appears to be covered up by the large bracket supporting the lift cylinder for the blade. My question is does this machine have a negative or a positive ground electrical system? Any support is appreciated, Thanks

That one would have came POS ground

You have a 188 diesal in there, Casenutty is telling you right, look on the front of the left battery box and see if there are two little holes drilled where the SN plate was attached. Great little crawler, important to use mineral oil in the rear for strg bands.
