ford backhoes

looking at a few backhoes, first one is a ford 655d, and the second one is a 675d, what is the difference between them and are they a good backhoe

675D is a turbo diesel as opposed to normally aspirated for the 655D.

I had a little older and smaller 555C ? They are strong for there size and some of the stuff for them my local New Holland tractor dealer could get or even stocked as it fit tractors too. The bad thing is the engines do not have wet sleeves and at overhaul time that makes it worse to do. Maybe the newer machines you are looking at have different engines now ?

For moving up in years the New Holland LB90 that you asked about might be good. I believe it's the successor in the lineup to the 675D. Goes something like this ... 675D 675E LB75 LB90. Has improvements such as sloped hood and more horsepower. I don't have any personal experience with one though.
