I've always wanted to have a dozer to play with. I've been around and worked on antique tractors enough to know full well it makes NO financial sense, but I'm retired and needed a Winter project anyway.
I also know that dozers are world-class money pits. I'm going to chalk the cost of fixing this one up as "entertainment expenses". Also prepared for spending a lot of time scrounging up parts.
This one should run with a tuneup, needs transmission work (thought to be a bearing out) and the left front idler wheel is flopping a bit so probably a bearing and/or shaft there.
I'll no doubt be back from time to time for advice, commiseration or parts search.
