Fiber Ring Gear for 450 Case

Does anyone know the part number for the fiber ring gear that goes inside of the flywheel on a 450 Case crawler, I am having NO luck finding the part number

Where are you looking?

Go to Case Construction Equipment parts. https://partstore.casece.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::model_find put 450 in the search for model box. There are a number of 450 models and serial number breaks needed to find the right crawler parts book to look at. You will need all that info from your machine to pick the right one.

I looked at a couple and there are what they call drive gears inside the flywheel. I found those in the torque converter/ transmission groups. Look there, I think those might be what you are looking for.

Please clarify yourself.

There are several on the Case CE site. Did you see them? If you didn't I will try to point you to one so you can use that as a guide to find the others.

If you saw them on the site it sounds like the problem is you don't know which one to get because you don't have a serial number. Is that the fact?

Depending on the year and 450 model some had serial number tags on the converter. It looks like all had serial tags on the transmissions. If you could find one of those your dealer might be able to help you. Do you have it out? If so, have you taken it to the dealer to see if they can get it identified?
