getting out stuck pistons

So I have been working on getting the stuck pistons out ...I have been successful getting 2 out and have the other 2 still soaking in Kroil. I have been using a piece of wood
to "pound " from the bottom. I have found a piece copper rod ( I think it was a ground rod )...would the copper be soft enough to use? I don't was to damage the rod
..should I just be patient and let it soak? The tractor is a B414 if that matters and yes the head is off....

Thanks for your help!

If it is a BC144, It has wet sleeves. Make a long U-shaped thing to push on the pin bosses, and use a floor jack to remove the sleeve/piston assembly. Remove as much rust as possible from the cylinder wall, on the end thru which you desire to push the piston out of the cylinder. Put this frozen mess in a press and apply light/moderate pressure. STOP. heat the outside of the sleeve, evenly, with a torch. You only need to heat where the piston is, because by time you get it down to the clean portion you are home free.

place a diesel soaked rag in the cylinder and on the piston--set it on fire and let it burn--the heat will help break it loose

Remove block, place block on hydraulics press and press out pistons without smashing anything .
