My Skid Steer with 330 hrs. has started to overheat when used over a half hour. I have blown out the cooling fins and replaced the thermostat, yet still overheating Kabota engine.Any ideas?

You may have a blown head gasket or the rad blocked internally,I take it that the fan and fan belt are good,if you have a heat gun check the top and bottom tanks of the rad when the engine is hot and running, there should be a difference between 10 and 12 between the top and bottom if the rad is doing it's job,if not try back flushing it,take off the bottom hose and stuff in a water hose with a lump of rag, with the cap off turn on the water supply, flush it till the water comes clean,to check the head gasket, remove the fan belt, check the pump is good, fill the rad to the top, start the engine with the rad cap off, watch the water in the filler for air bubbles,if you get air bubbles it is caused by compression leaking into the coolant indicating a failed head gasket, cracked head or or the like.

I believe this Skid steer has 2 Electric cooling fans. I'll have to check their fuses/operation. Thanks for the reply!

I took it wrong when I thought you would have checked the fan first, surely you can see whether the fan is cutting in or not,if not put the wires together at the switch,if it cuts in then the switch is faulty.
