CAT 955H, HOW TO PRIME, 2 START??

4 CYL, TURBO, 24V ELEC...I SEE A FUEL TOWER, W/BLACK KNOB HORIZONTAL, & A BLEEDER a top...fuel tank been drained...any help., thanx, for my cousin...be blessed, grateful, prepared, nik age 77, viet vet

Close the fuel valve under the tank,look at the fuel filter housing and go down till you see the transfer pump,on the transfer pump there is a steel sediment bowl,loosen the thumb screw on the bottom and remove the bowl,inside you will find a disc filter,unscrew it and wash it out,put things back,turn on the fuel open the bleeder,the black knob is the primer,turn it anti clock,pull it out and prime away till you get air free fuel from the bleed pipe,close the bleeder and prime away till you feel the primer going stiff,lock it in and start the engine.
