I?m replacing the fuel filter restriction gauge and would like to know how much pressure the lift pump on the back side of the injection pump puts out
under nornal conditions. I know as filters get restricted, the pressures will go up. I guess I need to know what maximum pessure it can put out for getting
a correct pressure gauge. Thank you.

As the filters get dirty the fuel pressure drops, that is why the machine looses power

Yes that is correct. I need to know the pressure for a new gauge I'm installing though.

Should be around 40# and with a non stock gauge it will bounce around with each pulse of the transfer pump
