New to using this loader with backhoe, any hints? Familiar with operators manual and have much experience with tlb and dozer but not Case.

This may be totally incorrect operation and probably something many have an opinion on but I was always taught to steer with the hi/lo levers instead of the brakes

jc, the post below about a hose is a guy looking for a hose for a 580CK oil bath air cleaner I did not know if you happened to have any of those yet
cnt

Yes, the HI LO Levers are fine on flat ground, but NOT on a slop or hilly terrain. If the engine quits for any reason, on a slope LOOK OUT you are going for a ride!!! Now the only way to stop is the brakes. The hydraulics are shut down and the only way to stop is the brakes, believe me I found out the hard way. A tree was all that kept me from going over a steep ravine and who knows what then. In a tight situation the brakes are good also, to keep from banging into something while maneuvering around. I think this is a great piece of equipment, but very dangerous as well.
