1010 John Deere Crawler

I'm working on a 1010 crawler. Just finished putting steering clutches and brake bands in. Pulled up the floor plates to adjust the brake rods and found the return spring for the petal was unhooked. My question is where does the spring hook to on the crawler itself. I looked through my manuals for some kind of information or a picture and can't find anything. Could someone please help me on this.

There is a lug on the bottom of the floor plate , with a hole beside it. Bolt the plate back on, and reach through the hole with a pry bar and reattach the spring. It is a little bit tricky, and don't get your fingers into it.

I think I have attached the spring to the floor plate as I put the plate in so you don't have to reach through the hole.
