JCB bachoe getting weak

JCB 1400B backhoe gets weak and wont dig aftyer about 30 minutes of runtime. Time for a pump? Pain to change?

It's fairly easy to change the pump,remove the front grille and undo the pipes,the coupling and a couple of mounting bolts but does it need it,has the performance got worse and worse over time or did it happen sudden,the main regulator valve (JCB call it MRV) has o'rings on the body if any of those blow the oil can bypass resulting in poor performance,the MRV is located in the front loader control valve and I would check/change those o'rings before changing the pump,the control valve has two quick break couplings for a pressure gauge, the pressure should be checked first,it's a chance buying a pump without knowing what's wrong.
