Anyone know where I can get an inframe rebuild kit, complete with new cylinders, pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets etc. for a really good price?

Interstate McBee has some good stuff, as do IPD, CTP, and several others. Your best bet would be to search for engine machine shops, or any company dealing with heavy truck/equipment engines, and they should be able to get you the kit you need. Too, click on the link below for a search I just did. There are kits available online from a lot of different places, so you have plenty of places to price shop.

As far as the 9G, what parts are you needing? I ask because I've got an full set of sprocket segments for one, that had very few hours on them before he needed other work, so he had us do a complete undercarriage rebuild, and wanted them replaced.

Another place to look is Endurance engine products in Lincoln Nebraska.They've always offered different choices,OEM,aftermarket,new,rebuilt,etc.I've bought quite a lot of stuff from them over the years.
 
I think that Cat have a discount scheme for parts for the older Cat called Classic Parts,a call to your dealer would be worth while to see if the scheme is still running,I would rather pay a bit more for genuine Cat parts than cheapo imports from Asia esp engine parts as it's labour intensive to fit them,my 2 cents worth.

I but Cat classic parts quite often--they are aftermarket manufactured but have to meet Cat specs and seem to be quite good for my limited use older machines.
