JD350 Final drive fluid replacement

Manual is with the dozer at hunting camp and I am trying to decide if I want to get the fluid for this job before I go up hunting. I can see in the parts diagram where the drain plugs are but where is the fill location. This is a straight 350

Good evening,

I am thinking the fill plugs for the finals on a straight 350 are right above the drain plugs, in the bottom pans, visible on the inside of the finals under the crawler. If not there, look at the final drive housing, straight up, a few inches above the drain plug. They may be recessed plugs with a 3/8" square in them for removal. Sometimes brackets or other attachments have been known to cover them. No guarantee, you know how memory works. Next time you're up to camp I bet you grab the manuals and start carrying them back and forth, so you can do your "studying".
