Komatsu WA 40 oil filter??

I have a Komatsu WA 40 wheel loader with a 1.9 liter 3 cylinder Diesel. Only one time has the Komatsu dealer been able to come up with an oil filter that is the correct one. I'm
wondering if anyone may have a filter parts number for this 1.9 liter engine, perhaps even used in other Komatsu equipment. I have bought aftermarket filters also that simply
don't fit. The correct filter (in Japanese only) does not have sufficient info on it to cross over to anything else. Thanks for any help.

There are about ten different WA40 loaders,you would need the serial numbers of both the machine and the engine,the three cylinder engine has model number like S384-2B or or,go to the link below which will take you to a site that you can look up Komatsu parts,find your machine and engine and get the filter number,you can cross reference them on the Baldwin site.

Thanks, I'll check it out... the wonderful part about dealer records for parts purchases from the past should be helpful but in this case they looked at the number on the previous filter purchase and said a new parts number has replaced the original and voila... here's the new filter that doesn't fit. There obviously is a filter out there that still fits perfectly and the pursuit continues... again thanks for the response.
