Picked up a very nice AW9 swather from a nice gentleman. Bought one last fall but needs a lot of work. This one runs like a sewing machine.

Nice looking machine. Every year it's harder to find nice older equipment

I don't see any PTO line so is it ground driven?

I don't know the model number, but an uncle had a Case swather that was built around a huge horizontal pipe at the upper rear of the platform. I think it was 15 ft cutting width. I cut lots of small grain with it in North Dakota.

Ground driven. Your uncles was probably a B 15. I have a couple B 12 windrowers. They were ground drive but a pyo kit was available.

Pto kit. A neighbor and his brother had a B 12 with the pto option. I made a deal to buy it but when I came to get it his brother had taken the pto assembly off...dirty shirt!
