can anybody tell me the diameter of the steel balls in a 411B brake? i might sold my 411 B . 1 brake never worked n suprize on balls in it
i picked up new discs and springs not knowing balls were absent

I don't have one in front of me, but the parts manual lists it as part number 09384AB. When you Google that part number, it comes up as 'Case IH 7/8 diameter steel ball'.

7/8 inch is correct. I bought a bag of chrome plated balls from McMaster-Carr several years ago.
