Strange question. I was running my new to me ck530 digging a basement for a addition. Went out the next day and started digging again and it started making a strange squealing noise from the front end, like a fan belt with a grind to it. I got off the machine to get a closer look and listen and it stopped. So I started digging again and the noise started again only louder, so I started to get the bucket out of the hole and the machine died with the bucket still in the hole. Now the engine will not turn over because whatever was making the noise has the engine in a bind. The power steering pump is not belt driven, so could it be the power steering pump or maybe the hydraulic pump? Something is not letting the engine turn over. Any ideas?
