How do you remove the brake assembly from a 1070?
I can't get the links between the brake rod and the actuating discs out. The nuts connecting them to the actuating discs just spin with the bolt, and the pin connecting the links to the brake rod won't go back far enough to release the links.
I pulled the ratchet nut off the top of the brake rod thinking everything could come out as a unit by pulling it down and out, but it seems like that would take some serious prying/bending and I'm afraid of damaging something.
What's the trick???
