Case 411 Correct Paint Color

Hello everyone,

As I am working on my Case 411 adding new parts and cleaning up old parts, it dawned on me, I should paint things as I go along through the repair process.

What are the proper paint colors for a Case 411 8082621?
I think I have found three (3) different colors on this tractor (not including rust and grease LOL) is that the correct amount? If I am incorrect PLEASE tell me what I need to know. Are there part numbers for the proper paint colors? If so, PLEASE let me know what they are?

Orange
Yellow
Silver

thank you

You can use Flambeau red or Power Red honestly it is hard to tell the difference.

You will want to use desert sunset for the tan color though as power white doesn't look right on the older tractors.

I have included a picture of two of my tractors. (One is Flambeau Red and the other Power Red)

CNH still has desert sunset available by quarts, gallons, and spray cans. From my own experience, there is a big difference between the off brand 'desert sand' and the true desert sunset. They are two different shades.

Prime with red oxide primer, Ace Hrdw sells a quality paint in a rattle can that won't clog like Rustoleum. I buy 6 packs of Flambeau Red rattle cans to paint small parts otherwise I hang out a line of parts so I can spray with a spray gun. The sheet metal gets hung out the same and painted with Desert Sunset. This I buy by the gallon and use a hardener to add durability and fade resistance. Radiator and light holders are painted satin black. I use Allstates Ag Parts for my paint source.

Thanks for the information,

This may sound like a silly question,
but do the paint colors have a part number?

I will probably end up ordering it on line somewhere and I think the part number (paint number) might help me NOT order the wrong stuff.

Let me know.

Thanks again

Each company has it's own number for the
paint. Flambeau Red and Desert Sand is what
you look for. You might call John Saeli at
315-585-9826 and he will see you get the
correct paint. Here's a picture of one of
my parts lines.
