Chopped some silage

Spent the weekend chopping silage. Had a few minor problems, and some mud from the 10 of rain I got in the last month, but otherwise it didn't go to bad. The 1030 and 300 chopper worked well, and the box with case 10 ton gear worked ok too. The box needs new wood and that is on the list for it.

Thanks for posting great pictures brought back memories of the 70s we had tne same outfit see you are using ear protection that whine was really hard on my ears
 
Sorry you have to fight the mud. That takes some of the fun out of chopping. We started today with our 1030, on a field planted May 31st in the mud but now nice and dry but rough as a corn cob. LOL
