SC rear oil capaciy.

I have '54 foot clutch SC in dire need of transmiseon/rear end oil change and hydraulic oil topped up. I would like know what ois to use and capacity, thanks.

Use (90 wt in transmission front plug, rear plug right next to it is for hydraulic,,. years ago ,for hydraulic fluid ,any reputable fluid was recommended in the early days of this tractors life , including 30 wt motor oil in the hot summer. Now everyones gonna scream case -hy tran. it is your tractor,i have done very well with mine using the old advice. there is a 1/4 pipe plug for the transmission and the hydraulic that shows the proper full level.

Thanks for the reply,it looks like it would take 5-7 gallons in the transmission.
