1175 crankcase over full

After setting in the barn for 5 months, my 1175 was 2 quarts over full on the dipstick. Before starting it I opened the drain plug and it was diesel fuel. I guess I need to pull the injection pump and take it to a pump shop? Any other ideas ? Thanks for your help.

I'd start with the supply pump first that bolts on the injection pump side. Have it resealed and watch the oil level closely to see if it still rises. If it does, injection pump is probably the problem

Take the side cover off the pump and pump the primer up as hard as you can. Watch for fuel leaking past the plungers. O-ring in the transfer pump on the plunger can also leak past.
