Case 580C Power Shuttle Stuck and Engine Will Not Start

My 1986 Case 580C will not start and in the process of trying to start the motor, I shifted the power shuttle into the forward position.

The power shuttle lever is now stuck in the forward position and I would be grateful for any advice on how to return it to neutral so I can work on whatever electrical problem that is keeping the engine from turning over. Thanks

othing really jumps out at me and I have worked on hundreds , just crawl underneath and examine the linkage and if all is well uncover the steering column to see whats hanging up, it's not a complicated setup, I'm sure the problem will be obvious. Sorry so long I thought someone would pop in quicker.
