Old CASE service kit

In the mid 60s my uncle bought an old shop/tavern in a small town in central Minnesota. The guy he bought it from sold CASE equipment at one point. Fast forward to a couple years ago the place was sold and cleaned out. This is one of the many items we came across. Very nice, heavy built tachometer kit with all the different types of drives. Still in the original box in good shape. Use it every so often. Still right on compared to my photo tach. Thought some of you would be interested in see this.

Still useful diagnostic tools. What a great find. May I ask what town the old dealer was located in? Thanks, Don

Thanks for posting this dealer letterhead. I just wanted to make certain that the dealership was included on the list. Don

Jon I also have a handheld tach that's for sale. Same family as the one that has the picker you want. Interested? It's not a Case one, but I can see what brand it is. Think they have a price of $25 on it.

I used my JAQUET NO. 628-630 so many times in my carrier .......:)
In 2011 I was asked to look into and verify why the enclosure of a 25,000 + HP General Electric Model LM2500 Gas Turbine was experiencing extrema heat inside the fire proof operation enclosure?

The short story.......I managed to inset the drive of my hand held tack onto he end of the Armature of the 50 HP electric Motor drive the Cooling impeller. The Electric Motors RPM was 20 % less than the digital read out on the control rooms HMI.

Hand held Tack saved the day....
