The original subject was Re: Adjusting the 930 DOM valve.

My Case 930 3 pt is stuck in the down position. The 3pt Lever will not move. I relieved the pressure at the Hydraulic remotes hoping it would help to fix the problem, but it did not help at all. Some people said that the Draft-o-matic is probably out of adjustment and is causing the problem. What are your thoughts?

I would not suspect any of the spools sticking, the only spool that has contact is the lowering plunger. Whatever you do , do not remove the long screw on the lowering plunger, it is a critical ajustment. Check the linkage up under the drawbar to make sure it is free and you may have to uncover the box behind the DOM valve, this assumes that the cable is not frozen, a real long shot...

I would recommend removing the DOM valve and giving it a good cleaning. Be sure to follow the procedure in the Case service manual. The manual is crucial. Guessing regardless of what is going on - the DOM valve needs cleaning anyways.

Once the DOM valve is off, you can also see if you have anything preventing your lever from moving. I have seen a 30 series somehow get the DOM linkage all buggered up under the cover. A lot of moving parts under there too.
