GOD SPEED ACG

It is with a sad heart and tears in my eyes that I make this post. As old scovey posted pop passed last night peacefully at home. I just want to thank everyone on here for keeping him sharp and witty over the last few years. Many of you were fortunate to get to know him on a personal basis and some fortunate to meet him. Case nutty I know you spoke with him nearly everyday as you were the topic of many of our discussions, Thank you! Jon F. you were lucky enough to meet him and he was always excited when you were coming to town. So many on here that he spoke of. Just want to say Thank you for keeping him in your prayers the last few months. Mark Voss i will be contacting you, as he had a request of me that i intend to carry out. Case Nutty i will call you as well. Again thank you for all your thought and prayers...

My deepest sympathy to his family. As i think i said before, Loren was a big man with a big heart and had big ideas with even better results.I always admired his steel work and as an avid wood cutter myself, I will never reach the height of his ability. Loren ,your memory WILL live on. Gary.

That is very sad to read. Thank you for the update. I have had Loren and family in my prayers. He is an a better place now.

Scott, I appreciated the wealth of knowledge acg had and his willingness to go the extra mile to help the case enthusiast with great patience. Early on in my postings I was very new to the tech world and used my handle only. he suggested I use my name as well. I very soon learned that this board was a close knit family and he was the leading person to help me see that. My hart goes out to you.

Scott,

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We will dearly miss his great pictures and great knowledge of Case machines and history. Don

Sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed his post, from plowing with his 930 to making maple syrup. I was also grateful for his advice when I had a problem with my Case tractors or my 230 baler. He will be missed by all.

My Case hat dips to a J.I.Case dealer, and friend. I felt his charm even more these last months we talked. His knowledge will never be touched. I still have his syrup that he told me, I make it the right way! (He told me about the oak fire he would use, yes he was selling me and I bought!) I enjoyed his shop posts, his time in the office chairs having a chilled one I only wished I could have been there even for just once. But he will always be with me,he was a J.I.Case Dealer, and a friend to all of us that knew him.

I am very sorry to hear this. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I talked to Loren regularly and visited him several times. I consider him to be a good friend. I will morn his passing along with you.

We are all very sad to hear of his passing, Loren touched our lives by sharing his knowledge and skills. I was fortune enough to have spoken with him on numerous occasions and one of the things on my bucket list was to go meet him in person. Our hearts and prayers go to his family and friends, he will be missed by all, Rod.

Our deepest condolences to you and all of his family. Including this family. I learned a BOAT full of things from ACG just setting back and watching on this web page. He had a lot of knowledge that will never be tapped. You in my prayers.....Kwenny

I really enjoyed talking with him over the past few years.
When he called me a few weeks ago, I knew he was calling saying goodbye.
I always admired him and he enjoyed ribbing me about my lack of enthusiasm for the Eagle Hitch on my VAC.

My sincere condolences to you , your mother and family. His family on here grieves with you and misses him too. I had your dad in my prayers daily for quite a while . I wish we had gotten him to share more about the dealership days . He did mention some things but I would have liked to hear more.I still remember seeing their ads in the Country Folks paper way back.

Although I don't post too often I am a Case collector and bleed Flambeau Red if I get injured. I get on Yesterdays Tractor site everyday. Even though I never met or talked to Loren direct, I had a lot of respect and admiration for him. It's never easy loosing a loved one, but we should be happy for them as they go to be with our Lord. Loren leaves quite the legacy and list of accomplishments for which you should be very proud. The memories and material things that Loren left will be reminders to all of the great man he was. May the comfort of GOD ease your pain and sorrow at this time, but know he is with the Lord and in a better place.

A friend
Steve

Scott sorry to hear about your dad. Wish i had a tenth of his case knowledge. Sympathy to you and your family. Richard

Remember several years back the First time meeting your dad. He took me out and around throughout the neighborhood into the Sugar bush and then we did the deal on the 511-b.I found myself simply amazed at his ability to turn something into something better. I will dearly miss him. Chuck machinist

Scott,
I am very sorry to hear of your dads passing. Before going to Facebook I had many conversations with your dad on this forum. I also had a nice talk or two over the phone with Mr Loren. He had a vast knowledge of Case products and was always willing to help others.
I enjoyed all of his posts of making maple syrup, working on his uncles farms, his many projects and answering questions from other members.
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers,
Nick

Sorry for your loss. I always loved to see what he was doing with his fleet as far as improvements and customization, making everything better than it originally was. He will be dearly missed.
