It would be helpful if you follow the service manual, but if you do not have one, I would suggest you remove the sheet metal hood, Gas tank, Move the dash and bracket fwd towards the gas tank area. Remove the throttle linkage near the seat and remove the seat assembly. You will have to remove the axle housings, as the nut on the axle inside doe not allow you to remove it all the way from the end of the shaft. It sucks, but it is what it is. I tried to make short cuts as I could, but at the end of the day, the axle housings must be removed. To save you some aggravation. Replace your axle seals. It is a learning moment .Feel free to ask more . I also removed the hub and rim as one with an engine hoist. Spend the $253 for the hoist. It will pay for itself when the project is complete. CM
