JI Case Combine Filmstrip Archive....

Glad you enjoyed. Wish there were more to post. I'll be on the lookout for additions to the playlist. Hope something comes across eBay or the like. With my luck, the price is going to be outrageous, due to the fact that I posted a bunch of videos & now everyone is going to be looking for them. Lol

Are you familiar with the filmstrips or were they pretty much gone by the time you got into Case? Curious as to what might be out there. Also wondering if they were initially full color & not just shades of red. That could be caused by the usual degradation of early Ektachrome as well.

I have 30-40 of them and another 25 of slide projector ones,, Friend of mine is scanning and restoring them frame by frame to look almost as good as New,, I attached one of them he made public for you to watch, and Yes as the filmstrip and slides age they turn red,, CASE had them for most everything they made

Thank you for going through all the effort to do this and share with us Case fanatics. Really nice to see them. Don

CASE also produced 16mm films. They were loaned to dealers and donated to colleges. Cornell had a stash of them, but many years ago by the time I tracked them down to the Cornell library, they had been destroyed. Before I can remember, at my folks' dealership, in our small hamlet, Mom & Dad would show some of the films on a Saturday night, and it was a night out for some of the local folk. These films were more instruction than advertising,; such as "Land Terracing", "Pond Building", "Proper Plowing", "Making Quality Hay", those are some that come to mind.

I am going to try to view them in the coming weeks, and these guys do a much better job of recording them than I can do.

Say, I just thought of it. If you could let Loren know that these combine videos are posted, I'd appreciate it. Last I read, he wasn't able to sit at the computer long, but he can watch them when he gets to feeling better.

I am very curious about the land terracing and pond building films. I believe I have acquired the paper pamphlets with those titles. I believe I picked them up simply because they both featured late 40s DCs pulling plows, discs and tumble bugs.
Also bought flyer for brush disk with notched blades just for all the great shots of LAs.
