I am new to this forum and I do not have a lot of knowledge on hydraulics. Case 30+4 back hoe is moving real slow and sluggish. Does any body know were pump is and if that could be my problem.

If the temperature is cold where you are
the hydraulic oil will be cold and slow
until the oil gets warm, also check to see
if it's full of oil. Also when were the
filters last changed? They could be getting
plugged up.

Could you be a little more specific as to what model you are speaking of. I am not familiar with 30+4. with that we may then offer a solution.CM

On my CASE Trencher you have to have the engine speed up well over 1/2 way to have full hyd to the blade,, does this make any diff in yours? you may have to do a PSI test to see if you have a weak pump,, do all hyd work slow or what exactly?

Just the back hoe

Does the speed pick up with engine rpms at max or no change at all? you may need to look for a service manual on them, that is one model I do not have. it can be a few things though,, need to know more how it works,, does it have good pressure to run the hoe and its just slow or low psi and slow speed ect? if you answered me already i have not seen it

I'm not up on the 30+4 exactly. Looks like it sports a D-100 hoe.
So, my thoughts are coming from my experience with a CASE 646 with the D-100...

Could be that you got some crud from a deteriorating hose in the valve stack. Could also be something unhappy in the relief on the inlet side of the stack, assuming the issue is just confined to the hoe.
If you have to work on the stack valve, be careful with it. I ended up with a cracked body on the inlet section on a very cold day a few years ago. That led to an expensive replacement project...
If it's more than just the hoe, perhaps you've got a collapsing line leading to your pump. I've seen that on 2##, 4##, and 6## series compact machines.
