My memory doesn't do justice on how nice the early 70's series tractors looked with the Power Red and Desert Sunset paint combination. Oh to be young again (and enough money in the bank) to be able to buy a new 770.

Awesome looking machine !! My only gripe with the '70 series is their low ground clearance at the rear-end :-( . I had to run an 870 pulling a 4/16 plow and over a "knoll top" and she "turtled out" on her underbelly

That low center is why you seldom here of a Case upsetting. Sad to say most of the tractor roll overs that I remember were IH. They have always set higher/
