Case 430 Fuel Pump

Hi Guys,

My fuel pump is leaking fuel. Its leaking on the moving arm / shaft. Constant Drip.

Is this an easy fix ? Look like a O-ring or rubber bushing.

if anyone can help me out on this repair, it would be greatly appreciated.

If your pump is like most I get in for repair it has more wrong inside than the throttle shaft leak. When the weight retainer ring breaks apart inside that will cause fuel leaks too. I have an IH 706 pump on the test stand now that came in for the same leak..
 
About 1 1/2 years ago I had the same leak on my 430. I purchased a top gasket and O rings from an eBay seller. I talked to the guy on the phone and he was very helpful and told me exactly how to replace the O-ring.
Purchased the kit and replaced just the throttle side O-ring, the shutoff side was not leaking, and replaced the pump cover gasket, as you have to remove that to remove the throttle shaft.
No leaking and the tractor runs great. Hopefully that would be all you need to stop the leak, instead of a rebuild.
