Case #10 T sickle mower

I have the chance to buy a Case #10 T
sickle mower, it's kinda rough but not
froze up but the wooden pitman arm is
broke. I can get it for scrap price which
is almost nothing right now. What's
everyone's opinion?

I can get it for 40 cents/pound. He's going to weigh it and let me know.

I think that is a good deal
wooden pitman arms are easy to build, (if you have the metal ends from the old one)
if you have the broken pieces you can get the measurements for a new one.
I think it would be a fun project. go for it.

I'm still looking for an SC but I have also found an unstyled L. The owner says he'll sell it (I have heard this one run) but he won't state a price on it so I don't think he's too serious about selling or he's afraid I'll actually buy it if it's a reasonable price
