There is a video around now that shows that Giant Case steamer pulling 36 bottoms. I think it was 24 last year.

I wonder how many it could actually pull. And where would you find a field big enough to turn it around.

Thanks for update, the torque on the slow turning bull pinions and bull gears has to be incredible, Rod.

The mount of weight on the drivers must be a lot as the small lugs can pull on damp ground without slipping. Plows quite a strip at a time. If they are 14" bottoms it would take a little over 5 acres per round on 1/2 mile rounds.

There is a picture of a Case 150 pulling 52, 14's that I have seen in a museum somewhere in SW WI. That was 45 years ago, so I do not know if it is there or not now. Not even sure exactly where it was.

Kory's Dad is shoveling the coal, His Mom is the blond woman in bib overalls raising one of the plows.

I was told that a copy of that picture was on display at the House on the Rock. For a short period of time. By contacting them, they may know who owns it. I never got there to see it in person. Would be neat to tract that picture down
