Tractor identifcation

Hello I just joined the group, I have been working on old Massey Harris gasers, but recently I was asked to clean out a mans backyard and found the remains of an old case, as i rummaged though the bush I found the engine the the front, the hood has been flattened and so on...so here what I know, its not very big, it only has 24 inch rear tires, its a four cylinder diesel, slandered front end, the chassis color is orange and the tin is sort of a cream color. the nose piece is kind ugly and has twin headlights and is old enough to still have thrashing wheel along with hydraulics for an eagle claw three point hitch...so far all I have for numbers is a casting # on the block witch is 31061.

So where do i go from here to identify this so I can start ordering parts ...lol

good morning,
Welcome to the Case forum. Lets start with the aluminum ID tag on the dash, it is about an 1"1/4 tall and 3" 1/2 long with 7 numbers stamped
on her. If that is missing ,there is aluminum stamped tag mounted on the right side of the motor about mid motor. After a few posts you will be
able to post pics of her. Snap a few pics and post them to this post. Use the upload photos below on this page follow the instructions. Let me
send you a few pics of a few tractors. I suspect you may have a 300, 430 or 530 Case . The head lights look like owls eyes .HEE HEE .Lets start
there. Welcome . ChuckMachinist

YES that,s the nose...lol...In my case, the hood has been changed at some point and possibly the decals, it say triple drive diesel 885 which I be-leave was after they bought David brown, I will try and show you pics so far

so I have got this mess home and have the chassis back together, have freed up the engine (waiting on replacement gaskets) so I started working on the body work and I am now convinced this is a pre 63 case 430 diesil.....It has the triple range gear box, owl eyes front and an eagle claw hitch, for some reason someone put an 885 decal on the nose ....lol...still no tag so I don't have the sereial numbers :(
as soon as I can post pics I will put up what I have and get an opinion :)
