Cut my oats

Got home on time to pull the conditioner off the swather and cut my oats.

I planted some mixed grass for hay and that is coming nice. The straw might be better hay than straw. Lol.

An extra pic of the steers which are looking good too

Hope to bale the hay and combine the oats this weekend.

Oats looks a little lite, wasn't it a cover crop? Critters look happy & healthy. They'll make some great steaks & you'll have to put some butter or something similar in the pan when you go to fry the hamburger. Wish we could get some of that home grown beef!
