Beefing up front axle on 1494

We have a 1494 with a GB 660 loader whose main purpose is loading big round bales. Periodically we crack the front bolster and the front axle is a little small. Does anyone know if a heavier bolster and axle will fit on a 1494?

I assume you have 2wd? No heavier carrier and axle available. But what about converting to a 4wd axle without the driveshaft? Have a 1494 4wd myself, mainly used for loading bales. Frontaxle (carraro) holds up wel.

Would it be simpler and cheaper to replace it with another tractor that has a higher capacity bolster and front axle?

A used 4x4 front axle is worth as much as a 2 wheel drive 1494.

4x4 1494 axles can be broken with a loader. Been there, done that, welds to prove it.
