Case 830 CK Draft Arm Issues

We have a Case 830 Comfort King. Plowed with it in the spring with a semi mounted plow. Went to use it for baling and noticed the draft arms will not raise. Checked out the draft valve and everything seems in working order internally. Tried a different draft valve and no change. Arms won't lift. Tried a different remote valve. No change. Pressure is good at the remotes. We think pressure is not reaching the draft valve. We are going to go through the remote valve and replace o rings and seal to draft pressure line to see if that helps. Oil level good and new hyd filter. Any ideas?

Remove the square cover on the right side of the DOM valve, and clean the valves under there as it shows in the Case service
manual. If the oil is not getting to the DOM valve it has to be going through a pressure relief, and you should notice that.

Did you check to see if you were getting spool movement as you move the main draft lever, It could be a mechanical issue as well as hydraulic, my advice would have been to clean the lift plunger also but since you swapped out the valve now you have added a new dimension into the situation.

(reply to post at 18:15:32 07/16/20) [/qu I am having similar problems with my 831, the loader works great but I cannot get the 3 point to function. I posed the question several months ago on this site. I got some suggestions here and tried them but still not working. I will follow this thread and hopefully get mine to work too. ote]

Ted, if the remotes have proper pressure 95% of the time the raise plunger is plugged with sludge requiring being taken out disassembled and reinstalled. The lowering plunger should be checked to make sure it is not stuck in its bore. Have you done that? It is located on the side of the DOM valve above the right brake on top of the trans top but accessible from the side.

Thanks mEl, I'll give that a try. I do have the service manual for the 831, but I will have to get familiar with the terminology that they use to identify items. Sure wish someone would do a You tube video on this.
