New stuff for the kingdom

Went to Illinois yesterday for some new stuff for the kingdom. Left at 5am with the trusty stiff getter and a trailer I borrowed from work.

Got down there about 12:30. Loaded a case/helix grinder and case chisel plow.

Had to pull the hitch on the plow so that took a while. And I may have spent some time bs'n with the guy. I know is unlike me and hard to believe, some might think I'm being dishonest, but it's true. Lol. Didn't get out of there til 3:00.

Got home at 11:00 and drove 747 miles.

Except for the paint on the grinder, both are nice.

I only put 7 shanks on the chisel hoping I can't get it in this hard ground and pull it to break up this clay. Probably be cutting oats and hay again in a week or so, oats is turning pretty good. So going to be busy for a while.

Looks like you made a great haul on the equipment. They look like they were well cared for. Thank you for the pics.

The mill looks like very little wear, interesting hammer arrangement, I wonder why they didn't use swinging hammers,
