On a caseDC I have a cast ring part number 123 gh or hg 43 2 . Hard to tell with the rough casting which way is correct. It is only spacing the rim out 4 inches and looks exactly like regular cast wheel without the cast center spokes. I can see no real reason for this thing except to add weight and or space the rim out 4 inches??

Is that the casting that is used to move the rear wheel out for the early mounted corn picker?

I have one of those too. It came on a footclutch DC. I agree either for a mounted corn picker or I even thought it could be used to space out to get into a plow furrow.

Wish I could find a mate around iowa for it.

Are you talking about a cast ring in the area that I have sketched? If so, I cannot find any factory ring in either my early or later D series parts catalogs.

Have several of the spacer rings. Used to move the left wheel out to mount the model IM picker. Needed to move the picker to the left to have room for the steering arm.
