I really enjoy operating this tractor. It is very smooth to operate with the COM tranny, and amazingly quiet running. I can put it in 8th gear and drive from home, up to the processing site in the woods and never have to shift out of 8th. I love setting back in the seat and piloting this long hooded beast down the road. I have it pretty well accessorized to my liking and needs now.
If you know your CASE tractors, you can narrow it down to within a couple of years of production. My dad ordered this tractor into out dealership for one of my uncles.-------Loren

It looks like a 730 or 830 NOT the comfort king. I had an 830 diesel COM drive non comfort king that looked very similar, but yours looks a lot better. I'm unsure of the production years

Like the others have said it would be your 63-64 830 high profile (high tin) with CK fenders. We have all three fuel versions of the 730 high profiles and all are dual range too.

You guys got that one pretty easily. It is a 1963 831C high tin. Dad actually got several of them like this one. They were a very popular tractor around here. Dad ordered all of them in with wide fronts, but when I got this one the front axle was in sad shape and I had this NF pedestal in my stash. I really like how well it manuvers compared to the rowcrop wide front axle.
I built the front bumper/grill guard and fabed a front fender under it to keep the mud from plastering the tractor after coming out of a muddy field. Getting onto the tractor from the back was near impossible after I fabed up the 2 post canopy modified the square pan seat so it has arm rests and a high back, and mounted the flat top fenders taken off a 930CK at the local salvage yard. So I built a pair of nice big steps on both sides and it is very easy to mount from either side now.
The flare side hyd dump trailer is also home built. A full load of wood weighs in at 3.5-4 Ton.
When the JTA plows came out we widened the Eagle hitch arms and ground a little out of the latches to accept the CatII hitch. and these tractors nicely pulled the JTA 46 plows. The JTA's had far more trash clearance than the STA plows had. Dad always ordered the solid cast rear wheels rather than the spokers and always put a set of wrapper weights on the front.

OK Smart Aleck!! You got 60 seconds to answer. Besides the engine, what is the other difference between a 730 & 830? Tick - tock-...…….

I had you scrambling through the parts books---Didn't I???
What model tractors did use the stamped steel floor boards??? How many different stiles of inching pedals were used on Racine COM tractors????---------Loren
