This 300 had been rolled sometime and was glob welded back together. All the usual seals leaked, tires/wheels were rice grips off a combine, both clutches slipped, seat was welded to keep it up, front grille medallion holder broke off, etc. At least the motor wasn't locked up. Anyone want to point out what's not right with this tractor?

When you take a pic in Australia or anywhere below the equator you have to rotate it upside down to get it right side up when you post it, got that?

Anyway you did a beautiful restoration job. For my money the wfe 311 is the 2nd best looking tractor ever. The nfe dual wheel 312 takes the 1st prize.

I have to agree with you on the nf 300. My other 300 is and plan to use this one wihile I redo the nf for the second time in 28 yrs. This wf was fixed with a diesel side panels and hood as it has a special build out on the left side for the diesel pump. The whole hood/panels sheet metal is 1" longer than the gas. Bolt holes for cultivator mounts don't line up.Didn't understand what was going on until I found a picture of it in the front of my service manual. Thanks for the kudos. BTW anyone want to trade a gas sheet metal for a diesel sheet metal?
 
I was wondering what the bulge in the left side sheet metal was for. That makes sense now that you said it was diesel sheet metal. Nice looking tractor.
