Dutchman, case nutty

The post below about the VAIW got me looking in the books I
have acquired sense I got my warehouse tractor. Looking
through both books neither one shows a pto unit in the repair
part or the parts section. Not saying that someone could have
ordered it from the factor with it as Tom mentioned. When I
got my tractor there was a pto on it. I questioned its existence
on the tractor. That was before I got the books and there it just
showed a plate covering the hole. Thought I’d just share if
you guys were interested. Mark on your tractor what year is
that? I see your rear fenders have a lifting hook on it as mine
don’t. Could you post some more pictures of all sides of your
tractor? Thanks!

John thank you for the addition info, i have the same SM in my stuff but had not went to it as the time for me is a busy one now,, I really do not see much of a need for pto on one,, but who knows lol I wish I had a dealer order book for them to see what all the options were on them as to me it would be interesting

John ,
Will try and add a pic. or two .. the only thing I would think you use a PTO for would be running a elevator ..be a heavy pc and short wheel base for field work { that's my thinking }
Mind is a exp. model has numbers on some parts and my front axle has two leaf springs and a parking brake lever and a few other things we found out when we took it down to the frame . Not only are the back fenders HEAVY so is the RIM on the back ..

Mark, you may know the cast fenders are optional, I was thinking one could have used one to pull a pull-type mower say to cut along a run way or something at best with pto,, like you said they are Heavy and the gearing is for transporting so to speak
