I just bought a 48 case dc4 and I have been slowly looking it over as I have time. The engine is free and no signs of any problems, other than the water pump is seized and I was told no spark. My plan is to restore it as a project over the next few years in my spare time.
Every other dc4 I have ever come across has had external hydraulics, but I do not see it on this one. Did they make dc4's without hydraulics? It does not have the eagle claw hitch, but does have pto. There is a foot pedal under the seat which I beleive operates the pto. Other than the throttle lever in front of the seat, I see no other levers.
