Bill,

I think Wood orchard is a 3 generation business here in Door County. They have always been on the cutting edge of new orchard practices. They were one of the orchard customers who kept the local Ford tractor dealer in business-until approx. 8 years ago, when either the Ford tractor dealer was to take on the NH hay line or the NH dealer was to take on the tractor line. Schartner's NH dealership won out temporarily. Now Krueger's Ford dealership is gone completely and Schartner's just lost the NH parts and service contract. My, how things have gone downhill from the farmers perspective.

I do have a picture of the RO. It's just a matter of finding it. When I do I'll be sure to post it. We're fairly certain that Bernie Bias from Minnesota has it in his collection. Don

Take a look at who owns most of the major farm equipment brands that those of us that are over 60 knew when we grew up on a farm. Virtually every one is owned by a holding company that is German, Dutch, Italian, Brazilian or some other foreign company. More & more components of C-IH, MF, and even Bobcat as well as a bunch of others are not built in the USA. It's way worse than the automobile industry with parts coming from beyond US, Mexico & Canada. Farm chemicals and packing plants are even worse for foreign ownership. Foreign nationals want to control US agriculture.
