need starter drive for a case 300, its a Autolite starter number on starter is mz 4189 12m

My Wilson catalog shows MZ4176 starter for 300, MZ4189 for 310 and 320 6 volt. I don't know if they take the same drive or not. 12 volt 300B lists a different drive.

Is your tractor a round nose? I assume by the starter number it is. Prob is the starter replacements are for the later b models and 30 models.

I have done a swap of the new 9 tooth drive head with a old 10 tooth head from your original starter. Look at the pics and I gave prices and part numbers. I have been using the new swapped head starter for about a year now with no problems or severe lash marks on the flywheel
