What's the best Radiator Sealant?

Used this before in a 3406 Cat that was getting antifreeze in the oil with good results

Only Bars Leak here,, silver seal i have seen plug heaters cores when folks use it way to often,, also offers no water pump seal lube

I've never had any luck with sealants. It either still leaks or plugs up the radiator where it doesn't cool as well. I take them to a radiator shop when I have one leaking.

K-seal has worked great many times over even with water getting into oil blue bottle orange cap most napa's have it and even seen it at Walmart

BARS LEAK for me. The last that I used it was in my 1963 831C back when I gave it a face lift. That was 3 years ago and it has not leaked since. It was a pretty bad leek, and I was surprised that it actually sealed it.

Barrs Leak always worked for Me for the tractors .. DIKE has been doing me good in the 2000 Lincoln heater core ,.. and a 96 Crown Vic is still running every day to the county courthouse.1st thing i did when i got it 10 yrs ago was fix the heater by putting Dike in the heater hose . put 80,000 on that gal . it had 260,000 on it when i sold it 5 yrs ago ,,320 on her now .no troubles with the heater according to the little Gal that has it Now..They tell me DIKE works great on head gaskets in the throaway rice burners and GM small aluminum motors .

A radiator core or a leaking water pump the additive is a short term fix,, I use what I use to lube water pumps,, and to seal any sleeve oring leaks that are not bad enough to spend 2K or more to do a over haul while I am there,, love the comment about being to cheap or lazy,, I run over 35 machines,, if I can put a 10 dollar jug in to stop a leak for 30 years rather than spend that kind of coin and make water pumps and cooling systems stay in good shape for that amount of time yupper guess I am cheap,, you think I am lazy feel free to see how long you can stay beside me running my normal 18 to 20 hour days,, LOL by the way I do not add it when I have a problem I put in in all my equipment to PREVENT a problem sooner than needed,, if I was cheap I would use junk roltella or a off brand hyd oil and buy my tools at harbor freight instead of the Snap On truck,,

I was driving to collage early one morning and a rock or something hit my radiator and sprung a nice leak. I was well over an hour away from home and stopped at a gas station. an old fellow stopped and looked and said to put pepper in it. I swear to this day it stopped the leak in just a few minutes.
