David White 885 idle to high.

Hi, i recently acquired a David White 885. What would cause the idle to be to high with the idle speed stop screw completely backed off and how can it be slowed down? Thanks

My neighbor, believing himself to be reasonably competent but no experience with injection pumps, ruined his Kubota one trying to fix a leak. Ended up costing him several hundred dollars for a used replacement.

Most pumps like yours I can repair, test, and return in 350-450 range. E-mail is [email protected] if you have more questions. Pump has a wide spline input shaft, so pump does not need flywheel timing set. Just use the scribe line on the pump flange, it should be aligned with the engine mark now.
